Kate Neary-Pounds, MPH- Executive Director, Health Outreach Prevention Education, Inc.
Kate is currently the Executive Director of Health Outreach Prevention Education (H.O.P.E.), a Tulsa-based non-profit organization which provides HIV prevention and heath promotion services. H.O.P.E. provides community education, testing, counseling, and hotline services. She is also an adjunct faculty member with Tulsa Community College, teaching health education courses to incarcerated populations in Oklahoma.
Kate has worked for several non-profit and public health organizations including the National AIDS Fund AmeriCorps program, the Girl Scouts, and the Tulsa Health Department.
Kate received her B.A. in Political Science from the University of Tulsa, Tulsa, Oklahoma. She received her Masters in Public Health from the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center, Tulsa, Oklahoma. She is also an HIV Prevention Leadership Institute Fellow with the Centers for Disease Control, Atlanta, Georgia and a graduate of Leadership Tulsa.
